Metal Items Stolen From Property

   Law enforcement officials are looking into a complaint regarding the theft of metal items connected to a Summertown home.

   The complaint was filed on Wednesday through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department. A man hired to clean up the property told deputies that everything had been in order when he left Monday afternoon. When he returned on Wednesday, however, he discovered that the power pole had been cut down and the meter box, breaker box, weather cap and pipe were missing from the house. Total value is approximately $450.

   Investigation into the matter is on-going through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
